FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Why hire Project 'N Event to watch a movie and pay more money when I can just go to the movies for a fraction of the cost?

The same reasons why you go to a restaurant vs. cooking a meal yourself. You hire us to (i) get served, (ii) so you can be a guest at your own event, and (iii), so we can help you create a memorable evening with friends and family. The movie is not the product you purchase from us. We provide the movie theatre experience and service at the comfort of your own home.

Does Project 'N Event use bulky, inflatable screens?

In most cases, we do not. We try to maximize your space and be sensitive to what’s appealing to the eye. Large inflatable screens are mostly used for large, outdoor events (in a park, street, or beach) that host + 100 people.

Am I responsible if something happends to the equipment while I rent it?

We have insurance to cover damages, however, we apply common sense. If you did something to purposely damage our equipment, then yes – you are responsible. Otherwise, no. We are responsible for the equipment not functioning as designed. Don’t stress it, let us worry about it.

Can I project in broad daylight (before sunset)?

Not really. The best quality (and brightness) is seen after sunset. If it’s a cloudy day with little sunlight, you can start projecting an hour or so before sunset.

What happens if it rains during my event?

We can reschedule it or refund you 100% of your deposit. Your choice. The best quality (and brightness) is seen after sunset. If it’s a cloudy day with little sunlight, you can start projecting an hour or so before sunset.

If it’s light rain and your projector was placed outdoors, the water proof casing will protect it. The screen is water resistant. Let the rain pass and the show goes on! If it’s raining hard, it’s lighting, and it’s windy, we will stop projecting and pick up all the rental equipment to prevent damage to surroundings.

What if a 120 inch screen does not fit?

We always carry a smaller, backup screen. If a 120 inch screen does not fit in your space, we have a 100 inch screen that will do the job just fine!

What happens if the projector / equipment stops working during my event?

Don’t stress it. We got you covered. Immediately consult with a staff member (if one is on-site) or call / text us at all us at 305-859-1680. Do not try to resolve the issue yourself. Do not start pressing random buttons on the projector or remote control!

What if my Wi-Fi signal does not reach outdoors or it’s not strong / fast enough to stream?

Don’t worry about it. We check your signal before we set up. We always carry a portable 5G Wi-Fi hotspot.

What if my venue (patio / driveway / street / beach) does not have access to electricity?

No power, no problem. For an additional rental fee, we provide a small gas-powered generator that will power up the entire projector system. And yes, it’s a quiet.

What if my guest(s) don't like what they are watching during my event?

This can happen and minds do change. Just tell is what you prefer to watch instead. We will gladly change the show for you and your guests.

If I want to watch a live sporting / concert event (something that you have to pay for) is that included in my rental price?

Yes, it’s included.

What if I want the projector screen to be placed indoors vs. outdoors?

You can. Just make sure there’s enough ceiling height & clearance. We don’t recommend you put a projector screen larger than 120 inches indoors.

Can I hire Project 'N Event for a corporate event?

Absolutely. We don’t just cater to outdoor viewing events. We have all the Audio Visual equipment necessary to setup at a small or large corporate event.

Is Project 'N Event insured?

Absolutely. We can provide proof if necessary.
